Thinking back to all that went into the Sacramento convention, you’re probably right. Sorry Tom.....

Ann-Maree and I have booked our flights and accommodation: We will be arriving in Dayton on a flight from Chicago on Saturday 10th July and have booked into the Dayton Mall Holiday Inn for 8 nights. This will allow us to do the Sporties tour on Sunday (will bring our caps thanks Roscoe) and the Dayton air show on Saturday 17th.
On Sunday we pick up a car and drive South via Nashville, Memphis and the Natchez way arriving in New Orleans on the 24th.
Then on Tuesday we are off to London and Europe and back in Brisbane Australia on 24th August.
No chance for an S-Tec for our Tiger after that!
This is only a short stay in America this time but we did have two 6 week tours for the 05 and 07 conventions.
looking forward to catching up with you all again
regards
Ken & Ann-Maree Cox. Tiger VH-SZI AA5B-0406

Ihave just discovered that even though I changed our itinery to a day earlier to catch the Sporty's tour I now see it is on Saturday and not Sunday. Too late to change our air bookings now. Serves me right for not being thorough enough in reading the schedule and the Star!

regards
Ken

I was checking out the AYA convention website and the Day Schedule links don't seem to be working. I didn't see a webmaster listed on the site, so I thought I'd just shotgun this out to all in hopes that it would get to the right person. If nothing changes in a couple of days, I'll post on the GG (I wanted to give the AYA Forum the first shot at addressing an AYA issue). Don

Roscoe is the man in charge of the 2010 Schedule and the bossman of the AYA2010 website - The Schedule is due to be sent out with the Convention package any day now (I hope!).
No doubt Roscoe will have time to put it on the website soon.

The daily schedules all have names like http://www.aya2010.org/docs/Day1.pdf

Add a leading zero, e.g.
http://www.aya2010.org/docs/Day01.pdf
and you'll get the information.

Sorry, my mistake.

Double the digit, e.g.
http://www.aya2010.org/docs/Day11.pdf
http://www.aya2010.org/docs/Day22.pdf

etc.

Thanks David. The double digits fixes it.
However I rckon the dates of the individual days need working on!!
Eg Day 1 Monday should be Monday 19th rather than 6th and so on.

Methinks you've been misled by a devilish 2009 calendar sneaking into your 2010 diary!!

Getting close to leaving for Dayton. Though, this weekend I fly (SouthWest) to a family reunion in Chadron, NE. But while I am there if the weather is nice, I hope to put some time on my cousin's Aeronca Chief. THis is the one I got to test fly after his restoration of it while on my way home from Baraboo in'04 (he has just completed an upgraded from 65HP to 85HP, as his 1200' pasture runway is at 4,000 ).
The July 4th weekend will be finishing up my AA-1B Annual (almost done, just need a part from Fletchair I ordered this morning). "Grumman" (my 4 legged co-pilot) & I plan to leave on Thursday 7/8 from Livermore, CA (LVK), and will shoot to arrive at MGY on Sunday if the Weather Gods are with us.
Hope to see you-all there!!!

For anyone who hasn't noticed already, most of the Daily Coverage has been filled in already on the convention website: http://www.aya2010.org/coverage.htm

It was a blast!!

Grumman had a great time! We had some 38 hours flying there and back in the Bumble Bee. Good weather on our route, and the plane ran great!
